Today’s word is AFTER, a preposition. According to Webster’s New World College Dictionary, it means later than or next in place or order.

Merijn Hos is an artist, illustrator and occasional art director based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Mr. Hos’s commercial and personal work are in constant evolution, developing in parallel with each other. Recurring themes in his work include melancholy and a longing for the past, along with a curiosity about the future. These themes are also reflected in his combined use of analog and digital techniques. Mr. Hos often finds that his most exciting work results from exploring unknown territory.

For commercial clients, Mr. Hos primarily focuses on illustration and motion projects. His motion work is usually created in close collaboration with his brother, the motion designer Jurriaan Hos, with whom he also occasionally designs interactive installations. In his fine-art work for exhibition, Mr. Hos likes to create a holistic experience in which every piece in the space reacts to one another.
